Ensuring others can work free from worry

I received important values from my parents. All my life, and throughout my career, I have held the desire to give these values and standards my all. I always feel intuitively what is good for people, whether there are tensions or whether there is harmony and I act accordingly. In my opinion, you should treat people the way you would like to be treated yourself. I always try to do that, and I sense I gain a lot in return.

I studied social judicial services. After that I was an intermediary in an employment agency, and then office manager. What my career has shown is that for me, what I do is less important than with whom I work: colleagues and clients.

I am responsible for the organisation around the FCE Corporate Learning Courses and the K&S development centres. My activities include organisation of materials, keeping the website updated and preparing the logistics for group meetings.

I prepare everything in such a way that others can work free from worry. If I achieve that, I’m satisfied. I am always on the look-out for what my colleagues need in order to be able to effectively work.

I think it’s wonderful that when working at Kessels & Smit no two days are the same. My previous job was mainly routine work - now I feel I have ownership of my work. Additionally, by working together with my GO-team colleagues I am becoming a real all-round support.
